What We Do
Court Construction
Before we perform any job or service, we map out a detailed plan to ensure the work is done efficiently and expertly. Every surface. Every project. Every time.
The strongest, longest lasting, and most durable court on the market. Our post-tension concrete system uses cable tension to dramatically reduce cracking and surface failure — even in the demanding Mid-South climate.
Clay courts offer a distinctive playing surface — slower bounce, greater rally length, and a classic feel. We construct them over a rock sub-base for proper drainage and longevity, with attention to every layer of the build.
The fastest-growing sport in America demands quality court construction. We handle both new purpose-built installations and conversions of existing courts — for residential backyards, clubs, and commercial facilities.
From school facilities to private driveways, we build basketball courts that perform and look exceptional. Hard surface construction with precise line installation — built to the same high standard as our other court types.
Our Process
We evaluate terrain, drainage patterns, sun orientation, and surrounding landscape to find the optimal court location.
Transparent cost identification — no surprises. We scope the full project and establish a realistic budget before breaking ground.
Sub-base grading, compaction, and drainage preparation. This is the foundation everything else depends on — we get it right.
Concrete forming and post-tension cable installation — the system that gives our courts their exceptional structural strength.
Precision concrete placement, finishing, and post-tension cable stressing — executed to tight tolerances for a perfectly flat surface.
Surface coating and color application. We work with leading court surface systems to deliver the right play characteristics.
Precise line marking for your sport — or multiple sports on a multi-use court. Every line is measured and applied with care.
We walk the completed court with you, verify every detail meets our standard, and ensure you're completely satisfied before we leave.
Court Resurfacing
Years of harsh weather and court use cause cracking, chipping, and peeling — creating uneven bounces and hazardous playing conditions.
We assess your court's condition and recommend the right resurfacing approach — whether a full resurface, crack repair and recoat, or clay top-dressing. Our goal is to restore your court to like-new performance at the right cost.
Full resurfacing of post-tension concrete and asphalt courts — crack repair, patching, and complete surface coating renewal. Recommended every 3–5 years.
Annual maintenance is essential for clay courts. A standard court loses 4–5 tonnes of material per year to migration and wash-off. We restore it to full depth and even coverage.
Professional pressure washing and algae treatment — recommended annually regardless of surface type. Keeps courts safe, extends surface life, and maintains appearance.
Before & After
Cracking, chipping, algae growth, faded lines — creating uneven playing conditions and safety risks. This is what a court looks like when resurfacing is overdue.
New surface coating, crack repairs sealed, fresh line marking. The same court — renewed for years of quality play. This is the Barton standard on every resurfacing project.
Maintenance Schedule
Post-tension concrete and asphalt surfaces should be fully resurfaced on a regular schedule to maintain safe, even playing conditions and prevent costly structural damage from water infiltration.
Clay surfaces require annual top-dressing due to natural material migration. Without it, courts become uneven and thin — affecting bounce consistency and playability.
All court types benefit from annual professional pressure washing to remove algae, debris, and surface contaminants that accelerate surface degradation and create slip hazards.
